“Clothing made of hemp fiber is lightweight, absorbent, has three times the tensile strength of cotton, and is strong and long lasting. Alongside it is UV and mold-resistant and is excellent for outdoor wear,” Shishir Goenka, Founder at Fusion Clothing Company says.
Discussing merits of hemp fibre-made clothing with fibre2fashion, he adds, “Hemp can be blended with other fibers like silk and also cotton and is very environmental friendly since hemp farming uses very little water and does not require use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers.”
